Children these days are spending a lot of time in front of electronic gadgets like smartphones, computer and TV. All these may be required but ultimately rays from these devices affect eyes a lot. Never use an unprescribed eye drops if you wear lens

If you wear lens, never use any eye drops without consulting your doctor. So many eye drops cannot be used while one is wearing contact lenses. If by wearing lenses, you feel any sort of itchy or dry feeling, consult your doctor. Your doctor is your best guide in such a situation.

A better alternative to allergen eye drops is Rose Water. With its natural properties and rejuvenating nature it is completely safe for your eyes and also, cures the problem of itchiness or redness in the eyes.
So, for a quick relief, put few drops of rose water directly in your eyes or apply cotton balls soaked in rose water on closed eyes for a few minutes. If you can do it on a regular basis, nothing can be better!

Continuous use of allergen drops must be avoided

Excessive use of allergen drops can be harmful. On some occasions when our eyes turns red or itchy, we resort to the use of these droplets. Once in a while using this is fine but regular usage is not advised, as it cuts the oxygen to cornea to give you relief from redness or itchiness. Prolonged use can be counter productive.
