Our eye is a very delicate part of our body. One essential part of eye is Retina. It is an inner layer in the eye where the images are formed and thus we are able to see. But, just like other body parts, even our eyes need proper care and nutrition.
For having healthy eyes, overall body health plays an important role. And we know, for healthy body, a good balanced diet is essential. Similarly, our diet plays a vital role in eye care as well.
For retinal protection, have a diet rich in
vitamins and minerals. Food items like fish, green leafy vegetables, and
citrus fruits are beneficial in keeping retina healthy and protected.
