Sleeping while putting your Contact Lenses on, is a big no-no. Doing this can block the flow of oxygen to the eyes. Our eyes need oxygen and when this supply gets restricted, the tissues present in the eyes swells, causing blurred vision. This can can also lead to problems like acute red eyes, corneal neovascularization, corneal microcysts and in extreme cases, corneal ulcers.
