Your eyes may be
allergic to a certain weather change or season. Allergy
occurs when an allergen comes in contact with your eyes certain cells release
histamine and other substances to fight off the allergen. This reaction causes
your eyes to become red, itchy and watery. So, it is recommended to use
allergen- reducing eye drops in allergen season. Many people are concerned
about the chemicals found in allergy eye drops which can even worsen the
symptoms if used more than directed. Therefore, experts suggest using eye drops
without preservatives is better in sensitive cases.
