Signs to look out for while Identifying Eye Cancer



Identifying symptoms of Eye Cancer is the first step towards generating Eye Cancer Awareness. Painless loss of vision, troubled vision, losing a part of the vision, spotty vision or floaters, visible dark spot on the iris are some of the symptoms to recognize Eye Cancer.


It is possible that these symptoms may not be cancer, but signs of other eye conditions. So, having Regular Eye Examination with an ophthalmologist can help in recognising Eye Cancer.

On a step towards creating Eye Care Awareness!



The number of cancer patients in India is increasing day by day, but hardly people know about Cancer of the Eye. 

Eye Cancer generally affects the outer surface of the eye, i.e. eyelid. But in some cases, the cancer can also affect the eyeball, which can cause Intraocular Cancer. 

Melanoma and Lymphoma are the types of Intraocular Cancer which is found in adults. In children, the cancer mostly affects the retinal cells, a disease also known as Retinoblastoma.
