Watch out for inflammation in the eyes

Eye lids may appear as insignificant part of the whole eye structure but play a very valuable role in protecting eyes as these act as first line of defense against dust or any other particle which may cause injury.While this is true,they are also sometimes a cause of inflammation in the eyes.These eye lids are made up of hair which are joined by small hair follicles towards the edge of the lids.These follicles have oil in their glands which at times (because of some known and unknown reasons) become inflamed which is turn leads to inflammation in the eyes.Symptoms of this inflammation include feeling of itchiness in the eyelids,swollen eyelids,feeling of burning sensation in the eyes, red or watery eyes,sensitivity to light.
All this may mark a beginning of serious eye infection.and one should see an eye specialist immediately.
