It is true that aging is a major factor leading to cataract. But, apart from that, there are several other factors too that may trigger formation of cataract in our eyes such as:
- Damage or injury to eyes due to mechanical work or chemical
radiation - Incorrect development of the eye lens
- Family history
- Taking Drugs, smoking or alcohol consumption
- Lifestyle problems like Diabetes, hypertension, obesity etc
So, it is important that examination of eyes is done to detect onset of cataract as and when any one has blurry vision.
