Don't overlook red, itchy and swollen eyes- they may be symptoms of an eye allergy.

When you say "I am allergic" people expect you to sneeze. But your nose isn't the only part of your body that gets hit during an allergic attack. You can also have red, itchy and swollen eyes.

 

Eye Allergy Symptoms-

    1. Itching
    2. Redness
    3. Burning
    4. Clear,watery discharge
    5. Sensitivity to light
   

Eye Allergy Management and Treatment-

 1. Avoid triggers by making changes to your home and to your behavior.
 2. Always wash your hands properly before taking out your contact lenses (if used by you).
 3. Avoid rubbing your eyes everytime.
 4. Wear glasses or sunglasses when outdoors to keep pollen out of your eyes.
 5. Wash your hands after petting any animal
