It is a long standing myth that controlling blood sugar can treat Diabetic Retinopathy. Diabetes often causes haemorrhage which ultimately affects vision. Various medical examinations like Angiography, OCT and Ultrasound are suggested to detect it. Laser surgery performed under a good Eye Surgeon can cure it.
