What is Cataract?

With an average of 10 million cases per year, Cataract is the most commonly found eye disease in India. Cataract is the clouding of the natural lens of the eye, which can cause blurred, decreased vision or vision loss. Generally, people over the age of 40 are most affected by this disease. It is seen that cataract develops slowly with age and can affect one or both the eyes.
