Retinoblastoma, the most common eye cancer affecting children

Retinoblastoma is the most common eye cancer which affects children below the age of five years. It is a genetic disorder affecting one in every 20,000. If detected early almost every child’s normal vision can be restored spread of cancer can be checked and child can have good decent quality of life. Early signs are shiny white part in the eye which glows. Parents should watch out for such signs in their kids.
