Treating Snow Blindness

Snow Blindness generally cures by its own within a day or two without medical treatment.
If wearing contact lenses, remove them immediately and refrain from wearing them again until the eyes return to normal.

To reduce pain or discomfort from Snow Blindness, stay indoors and wear sunglasses. Choose preservative-free formulations for mild dry eyes to hydrate them. For additional relief, place a cool, dampened washcloth over the closed eyelids.

Do not rub the eyes. If the symptoms persist more than a day or two, visit an Eye Doctor immediately.
